United Congregational Christian Church

No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!

Our church is a unique place to worship, have fellowship, and to gather as we reflect on God’s word of love.  Building on a rich history, we provide a welcoming environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our service integrates contemporary worship, gospel songs, and traditional hymns. The morning message offers insight relevant to our lives today. We believe that God is still speaking, still creating creation. We hope that you will visit with us and find refuge in our sanctuary as we invite God’s Love further into our lives. We are an Open and Affirming congregation and have for decades been a place of safety, acceptance and involvement for folks identifying as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender or questioning.

Join us for Worship & Sermon! Sundays 10:30 – 11:30 am.

You are welcome to stay after for Fellowship where we share stories over hot coffee and snacks. It would be our pleasure to serve you and to have you as our guest. Our community is very blessed to be served by a new and fantastic pastor; Rev. Cindi Knox is a 2013 graduate of Chicago Theological Seminary, where her emphases were ministry with people on the margins of church and society, and working with new and renewing congregations. With her wife Mary, she has one daughter, a stepdaughter, two grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. For fun she plays guitar and takes long distance motorcycle trips.

May God Bless your Journey!

*Each month that has a 5th Sunday, we move church to our Social Hall for a special Coffee House Service.
