Member classes are for:

• People who want to know more about the church
• People considering membership
• Members who want to learn more about the church

Member classes are held on the fifth Sunday of the month (usually 4 to 5 times per year) after our fifth Sunday Coffeehouse Worship in the Social Hall. They usually last 90 minutes to two hours and include handouts to take home.

Topics covered include:

• United Congregational Christian Church
  • a brief history
  • who we are today
  • sacraments (baptism and communion)
  • how decisions are made in the church
• Our denominations:
  • The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
    • a brief history
    • the structure of the denomination (including regions)
  • The United Church of Christ
    • a brief history
    • the structure of the denomination (including conferences and associations)

All are welcome to attend. There is no cost.
